Melissa was joined by a few members of school staff for lunch to discuss future plans for the Robert Clack Development Trust and Alumni Association and of course reminisce about the ‘good old days’ at the school!
Reflecting on her day Melissa said: “It was an honour to be invited back to the school and fantastic to meet some current pupils and catch up with former teachers. There must be something in the water in the staff room because none of them look a day older than when I left the school 15 years ago! Hopefully I have provided a bit of food for thought for year 10 pupils around their future plans and encouraged the year 13s to sign up to the alumni database now to ensure that the school can keep in touch after they leave. It would be brilliant if some of them could return to the school in a few years, just as I have done today, to inspire current pupils to think about their future plans.”
It was great to see Melissa back in the school and hear that the freshly baked biscuits from the school canteen are just as good as she remembers them!
